I'm a proud father of a 10 week old little girl, Jordan Taylor, who has mds. We still don't know the percentage of normal cells yet, but it doesn't really matter, does it?   I'm in the Army and it has been very hard.  I've spent 6 out of the first 10 week of her life in the field away from my family. But I would also way think of them right before I went to sleep, be it 6 am. or midnight, when I would get a chance to go to sleep.  I was thinking about what a hard time my wife would be having with a new born and a 3 1/2 year old, but she did better than I did, some nights crying myself to sleep. And I thought the Army sending me to Korea in the middle of December, and missing my little girls first Christmas and birthday was tough, it was a piece of cake compared to the 6 weeks I was in the field.
